Day 01 / Singapore – Solo – Amanjiwo
Upon arrival, we will be met and transferred to Amanjiwo.
The drive takes about 90 minutes and passes through lovely countryside and on clear day, we enjoy distant views of Mt Merapi, the active volcano that erupted in 2006.
Visit Borobudur, one of world’s truly great ancient monuments, the single largest Buddhist structure anywhere on earth, and few who visit fail to be taken by both the scale of place, and the remarkable attention to detail that went into the construction. Set as it is in the heart of the verdant Kedu Plain, the backdrop of mighty active volcanoes only enhances the sense of awe and drama.
Day 02 / Prambanan
After breakfast we visit the temples in Prambanan Valley, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The temple is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia, and is one of the largest Hindu temples in Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its tall and pointed architecture, typical of Hindu temple architecture, and by the towering 47m high central building inside a large complex of individual temples.
Day 03 / Borobudur
The day is free at leisure. We can indulge in a spa treatment or pursue an activity from the resort’s menu of 12 activities.
- Take a guided tour of Borobudur (Day 01)
- Spend half a day at the temples of Prambanan Valley (Day 02)
