Day 01 / Singapore – Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to hotel.
The discovery starts with a trip through Hanoi’s Old Quarter via Vietnam’s signature mode of transport – the cyclo. The tour takes you trough the streets whilst also visiting some of the historic sites like The Temple of Literature – the first university in Vietnam, all the while you will be experiencing the sights and smells of the city.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02 / Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Depart Hanoi for the 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay. Drive through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta, observe everyday life of Vietnamese villagers as they work the rice fields, take pigs to the market on motorbikes and plough the fields with their water buffaloes.
Arrive at Halong late morning and welcome at the pier of your chosen junk, check-in procedures and welcome drink will be served before departure.
Enjoy a seafood lunch as you cruise through Halong Bay before continuing north through Bai Tu Long Bay. Pass through unexplored waters home to floating fishing villages before arriving at Quan Lan Island in the late afternoon, here set anchor for the night as the sun sets followed by dinner.

Day 03 / Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Breakfast on board before disembarking to Quan Lan Island. Spend the morning visiting the island which is famous for its shell fish and one of their local delicacies – sea worms.
You will notice women wading through the mud at low tide collecting this rare and expensive seafood. The sweeping beaches on the island are some of the best to be found in North Vietnam and almost devoid of visitors except for the lone fisherman. Return to the junk for lunch while cruising back through Bai Tu Long Bay to Cong Dam which is perfect for both kayaking and swimming.
Cong Dam is a traditional floating fishing village located in the heart of Bai Tu Long Bay. Set anchor here for the night before having dinner.

Day 04 / Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L/-)
Early morning set sail for Thien Canh Son Cave. Less visited than many of the other caves in Halong Bay Thien Canh Son is laden with numerous sparkling stalactites and stalagmites which appear like hanging lamps and stone statues representing different animal forms. After visiting the cave kayak the pristine waters around the cave. On your return cruise to Halong City enjoy lunch as your boat weaves its way back to the dock. Upon disembarkation your driver will meet you for the transfer back to Hanoi.

Day 05 / Hanoi – Singapore (B/-/-)
The morning is free until our transfer to the airport for our departure flight.
