So, Asia does have some truly weird food – and that’s what I encountered in person on my last trip to Taiwan at Li Yu Lake in Hua Lien, where we had the chance to eat 活跳虾, or literally Live Jumping Prawns. Sashimi pashimi, that’s practically stale compared to some live, twitching shrimp straight from the lake!
