The Aravali Suites are the most spacious, bright and tastefully designed suites at Devi Garh. They offer complete privacy and have a spectacular view of the Aravali hills, which can be enjoyed from balconies or large bay windows.
One of the Aravali Suites is a duplex spread over two levels; a loft-like space accommodates the bedroom and bathroom above, while the lower houses the dining and sitting areas.

The design of this particular suite is based on the traditional Indian motif – often considered the most beautiful in Indian art – that of the lotus, or kamal. Its likeness is repeated in the paintings in the room, as well as in the floor patterns throughout the suite. Furthermore, the suite overlooks the spectacular black marble ‘kamal’ court, a courtyard that again reflects the image of a lotus in bloom.

The Palace Suites are each individually designed gems – literally, for the décor of each utilises semi-precious stones in inlays. Pristine white marble forms an effective base to offset the rich and elegant colors of Rajasthan, with local artisnal skills used in a modern manner. In every case, the patterns of the furniture are reflected and replicated in the white terrazzo forming the floor.

All the palace suites have either balconies or bay windows, which overlook the lush green fields and the mountains surrounding Devi Garh. Each suite is accessible through traditional ‘aangans’ (courtyards) transformed with contemporary design.

In every suite, the specially selected upholstery and furniture exhibit a view towards a refined beauty and functionality. Marble combined with semi-precious stones, such as malachite, mother of pearl, jasper and lapis lazuli, lend an aura of luxury and quiet elegance to the rooms.

Discover the rich fabric of India’s dramatic frontier state of Rajasthan
with Aman’s Camp & Oasis Journey, a six-night adventure revealing the region’s remarkable natural, cultural and architectural heritage.

Aman’s Camp & Oasis Journey provides ease of access to India’s Rajasthan in a six-night offer that combines three-night stays in a luxury tent at Aman-i-Khais and choice of pool pavilion, garden or terrace haveli suites at Amanbagh.

The offer is inclusive of two activities at each resort. From Delhi, guests can travel to Aman-i-Khais by train, plane and vehicle, or by helicopter. Travel to Amanbagh offers similar choices. Transfers between Aman-i-Khais and Amanbagh are complimentary. Extension nights can be arranged at either resort at a supplementary cost.

The Camp

A luxury tented wilderness camp set on the edge of Ranthambhore National Park, Aman-i-Khais echoes the rich Moghul travelling tents of another era. Each of the 10 air-conditioned tents has a soaring six-metre canopy with draped cotton partitions which create separate bathroom, lounge, private dining and sleeping areas.

A large fireplace acts as the Camp’s informal lounge and dining area with cushioned seating for nightly log fires and pre-and post-excursion gatherings. Camp facilities include a traditionally-inspired ‘step-well’ for refreshing dips and sunning. A Dining Tent serves Indian and Western cuisine with fresh produce from the Camp’s organic garden; a Lounge Tent provides books on the Park and Rajasthan’s culture and a Spa Tent offers massages, scrubs and traditional henna art.

Two complimentary activities at Aman-i-Khais are included in the Camp & Oasis Journey. Guests can enjoy a tailor-made four-wheel drive safari into Ranthambhore National Park with opportunities to spot gazelles, tigers, sloth bears and a wide variety of animals in their natural habitats, followed by sunset cocktails. On another evening, enjoy a romantic dinner for two under the stars.

The Oasis

A sanctuary that is also a gateway, Amanbagh is inextricably linked to Rajasthan’s remarkable heritage and extraordinary rural landscape.

Set in a verdant oasis of mature palm, eucalyptus and fruit trees sited at the head of a gorge which opens out to a large valley, Amanbagh is a contemporary retreat paying elegant homage to the architecture and design of India’s golden age. Evoking the palatial grandeur of the Moghul era in its domed cupolas and inner courtyards, the use of pink marble and sandstone recalls the palatial haveli mansions then favoured by nobility.

Amanbagh provides 24 garden, terrace and courtyard haveli suites and 16 pool pavilions. The Restaurant provides an intimate atmosphere beneath a soaring double height ceiling, serving home-style Indian cuisine and Western dishes prepared with fresh produce from the organic garden. The Library’s terrace is also ideal for informal dining in the evening and refreshments can be enjoyed in the Bar and Lounge or with a sweeping view of the landscape from the Roof Terrace. Trained therapists provide traditional spa treatments, as well as healing therapies, including Royal spa treatments with applications of jasmine and rose oil. Nearby activities include trekking, boating, horse riding, camel safaris, bird watching, cultural tours by jeep to traditional villages and historic forts, temples and Moghul ruins scattered throughout the surrounding hills and valleys.

Two complimentary activities are provided as part of the three-night stay at Amanbagh during the journey. Pamper yourself with an Indian head or foot massage and experience the peaceful solitude of the Aravalli Hills after a gentle trek up a marble-paved canyon.
